The 399 BCE trial of Socrates was re-enacted by the WCS Eighth Grade Ancient History Scholars, with their guests
(parents, grandparents, friends, and teachers) participating by casting their
votes for the guilt or innocence of the philosopher.

The accusers charged Socrates with
“corrupting the youth of Athens

Other students crafted questions for
the jury to ask of the speakers, based on their research of the time period, the
historical trial, and the hidden issues behind the charges brought against
Socrates.
