Instructions - embed your Egypt Power Point

Follow the instructions in this video by Mrs. Cusick to embed your Egypt Power Point on your Ancient History e-Text Blog.  (Turn the sound way up, she had a cold that day!)

We are NOT just putting them on as posts, as it says in the videos. (You may decide you want to have your Power Point as a "Refrigerator" post - something you are proud of - that's your choice if you want to have it both places.)

We ARE making a new page:
 * Create a page titled Egypt, which should come after your Indus Valley page.  This is where you will embed your Egypt Power Point Project.

Ancient Egypt

Eighth Grade Ancient History Scholars are entering the mysterious and complex world of ancient Egypt.  They will hone their research skills as they explore individual topics.

Their skills focus for this project will include practicing taking notes in one's own words, citing sources with superscript numbers and correct end note information, and properly documenting sources on their endnote and bibliography pages.  They will also practice using google power searching and using specific criteria for evaluating web sources.

The eighth grade scholars will each create a power point on their research topic which their classmates will use as study guides to prepare for the Egypt Unit Test
