Preparing for the National Mythology Exam

As a part of their study of ancient Greece, eighth grade ancient history scholars are preparing to take the National Mythology Exam. This exam is taken by over 10,000 students from the U.S. and around the world, and is sponsored by the American Classical League and Excellence Through Classics organizations.
Students will be striving for:
The Gold Medal (The Athena Award of Excellence) for earning 100%,
a Silver Medal, or a Bronze Medal.
This exam score will also count as a quiz grade in this class.
The students will complete:
- 30 general questions about the classical Greek and Roman gods and goddesses,
- 10 questions about the theme, "Heracles and His Labors"
- 10 questions over Book IX of The Odyssey, which they are reading in English class.
