Hinduism and Buddhism

After studying the roots of Hinduism and Buddhism in ancient India, the goal of the eighth grade ancient history scholars during the second half of their Indus Valley unit was to compare Hinduism and Buddhism.  They  demonstrated their understanding of similarities and differences in the two religions by writing an in-class essay.

Eighth Grade Ancient History Scholars are exploring the cities of Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro on the Indus River.  Perhaps one of them will decode the unreadable Harappan script and unlock this fascinating culture.
