As a part of their study of ancient Greece, eighth grade ancient history scholars are preparing to take the National Mythology Exam.  This exam is taken by over 10,000 students from the U.S. and around the world, and is sponsored by the American Classical League and Excellence Through Classics organizations.

Students will be striving for:

a Silver Medal, or a Bronze Medal.
This exam score will also count as a quiz grade in this class.

The students will complete:
  •  30 general questions about the classical Greek and Roman gods and goddesses,
  • 10 questions about the theme, "Transformations," including the myths of Narcissus and Echo, Orion, and Apollo and Daphne
  • 10 questions over Book XXIII of The Odyssey, which they are reading in English class.

INSTRUCTIONS - EMBED YOUR TIMELINE AND YOUR EGYPT POWER POINT

Follow the instructions in these videos by Mrs. Cusick to embed your Timeline Project and Egypt Power Point on your Ancient History e-Text Blog.

We are NOT just putting them on as posts, as it says in the videos. (You may decide you want to have one or both as "Refrigerator" posts - something you are proud of, that's your choice to have them both places.)

We ARE making two new pages:
 * One titled Egypt, which should come after your Indus Valley page.  This is where you will embed your Egypt Power Point Project.

 * One titled Ancient History Timeline Project, which needs to come BEFORE your Historiography page.  This is where you will embed your Ancient History Timeline Prezi or Capzle.
