After studying the roots of Hinduism and Buddhism in ancient India, the goal of the eighth grade ancient history scholars during the second half of their Indus Valley unit is to compare Hinduism and Buddhism.  They will demonstrate their understanding of similarities and differences in the two religions by writing an in-class essay.

To prepare for the test over this unit, students should do the following:

1) Memorize 4 Noble Truths for quick quiz Wed.; 

2) Study for Indus Valley Unit Test on Thurs., 12/18 using the following materials:
